Re-clad Scheme, Glasgow
Client: Private Healthcare Provider, Glasgow
The scheme was to develop a feasible design for the recladding of the existing 30 year old metal clad building to meet the current fire and Part L standards.
The client’s brief required a proposal that delivered value for money whilst being sympathetic to the original hospital Listed Building, re-establishing the hospital’s image as modern state of the art facility.
The design addressed the client’s aspirations in a proposal that the original building structure could support. The solution was to install in sections in a phased approach to ensure clinical operations could be maintained at the hospital for the duration of the works. The project is currently seeing great progress on site and due to be completed in March 2024.
