A scheme to deliver a new Paediatrics Emergency Department was the first project to release the space that enabled the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the rest of the Emergency Department.

Working within existing fabric often poses constraints, which we turned into opportunities. With a full reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing areas after full asbestos strip out, our highly experienced healthcare architects with interior expertise worked closely with the clinical teams to deliver their new department.

The Paediatric Consultant, involved in the scheme on behalf of the clinical team, said ‘We really appreciate all the hard work that’s going into making our children’s area so lovely and your fab design ideas’.
