Client: Private Healthcare Provider, Windsor

A project to refurbish the existing main entrance of this flagship private hospital in Windsor. Although small in size there were a number of issues to overcome with the design.

The existing dated fully-glazed front atrium style porch was a source of heat gain and glare, while in contrast, the very low existing ceilings created a dark setting for the main reception desk.

The design looked at introducing new solar glazing films to reduce the heat and glare. At the same time, the suspended ceiling choice of materials and design, was carefully coordinated with the lighting design to create a enhanced experience on arrival into the main entrance of the hospital.
